Preening Egret, 2024.
It was lovely to catch this beautiful great egret one day perched on the dock at Castaways Point Park off of the Indian River Lagoon in Palm Bay, Florida. The water birds are so plentiful here and thanks to the fisherman, they are very accepting of people and will often times land right up next to you.
