Ibis In The Trees, 2024.
The ibis is one of those birds that we often take for granted around here on the space coast of Florida because they are everywhere. They mainly travel in large groups and I regularly see 15-20 of them just in my backyard, foraging for grubs and bugs and whatever else they find to eat.
On this day though, I was so happy to be able to catch this little one sitting by himself in the tree branches as the sun peeked through and drenched his beautiful white feathers. Beauty is all around us.
